As per an official statement of Dr. Jitendra Singh, the administration of UT J&K has beensuggested to defer decision regarding reopening of Schools and Imposition if Road Tax. According to his statement on Official page which read " Have spoken to #JammuAndKashmir UT Government and suggested that decisions regarding 1) Vehicle Registeration Tax and 2) Reopening of schools may be deferred: Jitendra singh". 

The UT Government had yesterday imposed a fixed Token tax to paid by all vehicle owners in Quarterly basis, while the UT administration had also asked the Directors of School Education in Jammu and Kashmir to prepare of opening or schools on 15th May. The two decision had invoked wide spread criticism on Social Media.
